This page is for the LitterGig app and website, run by Litter Gig, LLC. You can delete your account in the app, on this page after you sign in, or by email.
In the app
- iPhone: open Settings (the gear on your Profile tab), then tap Delete my account under Account & privacy.
- Android: open Settings (the gear on your Profile tab), tap Profile, privacy & your data, then tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
By email
Email khughes@LitterGig.com from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my LitterGig account". We reply to confirm it is you before anything is deleted.
Before you delete
- Withdraw your wallet balance and wait for any pending payout.
- Finish any session that is recording, uploading or still being settled. A recording still on your phone is deleted with the account.
- Hand over or delete any team that you are the only admin of.
What is removed
- Your profile, settings and public profile.
- Your Green Coins, stats and achievements, including any Green Coins you have not redeemed.
- Your friends and friend requests, and your friend code (it is retired and never given to anyone else).
- The notification tokens saved for your devices.
- Your ID photos and profile photos.
- Your place on any team member list.
- Your feed posts and comments, your suggestions and feedback with their photos, and the motion data recorded during your sessions.
- Where you checked in at events.
What is kept
- Settled cleanup session recordings, with their GPS trace and counts: property owners are billed from them and disputes are settled with them. Our retention target for session video is ninety days after settlement, longer while a dispute is open.
- Disposal clips.
- Transactions, payment and wallet records, kept for tax and audit.
- Disputes, refund requests and background-check records, kept as long as the law requires.
- The places of your pickups on the litter heat map, with your account removed from them.
- Accident reports you filed, without your name or account, kept for insurance.
These are kept for audit. Your name is not shown with them anywhere public, and your public profile and leaderboard places are gone.
